Travel aids: Please see this section in SUGGESTED LINKS.
Accommodations: We can suggest known properties in Venice, Florence, Rome, the Amalfi Coast, and throughout Italy, For tours in Tuscany, we prefer to place you in a restored farmhouse or villa, generally three or four-star property in the Sienese countryside and conveniently located for day visits to the Tuscan appellations of Chianti Classico, Brunello di Montalcino, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano or Umbrian Sagrantino di Montefalco. We highly recommend that reservations be made as early as possible, asking that you allow us to make your bookings in recommended properties once an itinerary is established. We can often negotiate a somewhat better price or different category of room.
Museums and monuments: We will suggest those major works and institutions from Italy's infinite patrimony, attend to your admissions and/or obtain your tickets to in order to avoid lengthy waiting times. If your tour is guided, reservations may not be necessary.
Tour guides: Each of our guides is licensed and a resident in that community visited. All Italian guides require a three-hour minimum payment but tours often continue to four hours. Guides will make all arrangements by calling your hotel beforehand, meeting you at your scheduled time, and traveling to your tour site with you by taxi or private means as the situation requires.
